Congrats are in order for superstar cyclist Lance Armstrong. 

The seven-time Tour de France winner is expecting his first child with girlfriend Anna Hansen.

"Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful," he tells People. "We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts."

Lance goes on to day that he and Anna are "both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family."

The 37-year-old has three children from his previous marriage.

  • Lance is such an inspiration and example to everyone, mostly young kids. That is what bothers me about having 'kids' out of wedlock. I always considered him to have better values than this. I am sure this took place due to the fact he is in public eye. He really has lost his quest for a better life. Couldn't he understand what his own mother had to experience!

  • Most of you guys are freakin dumb. Did anybody read his book? When Lance was diagnosed with testicular cancer, they said they would have to cut out his balls because that is were it was at. So he went to a sperm bank and they froze his sperm. His wife then, Kik Richard, then had an embryo fertilized and then they had a baby. They did it two more times, hints the two other kids. Somehow, Lance was able to get Anna Hansen pregnant naturally, nothing short of a miracle. No he did not leave his wife and kids when they were infants. They were not from another relationship. He did not leave Sheryl because she wanted a baby. She was mad at him because they couldn't, so she left. He did not ditch Kik when he gained fame, they were together until 2003. He had won the Tour de France 4 times already. You guys are dumb.

  • We now understand this 'using' weasal. It isn't that he didn't want babies, he just didn't want Sheryl Crow who gave him a real baby of a ultimate exposure to stardom which advanced his persona. Let's see how old is that baby. He dumped his wife and kids for Crow then dumped Crow for stardom. He's nothing, I say nothing. I spit on him.
