Jennifer Aniston to adopt an American Baby!

Adopting children has become Hollywood’s latest trend. Celebrity couples like Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt, Pop queen Madonna-Guy Ritchie and Oprah Winfrey are among the celebrities who have adopted children.

And now the former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston also wants to adopt a baby. Aniston has been reportedly considering adoption for some time and has instructed her lawyers to approach several different adoption agencies in Los Angeles on her behalf.

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine,

Jen has thrown herself into adopting and wants it to happen straight away. She toyed with the idea while she was with Vince but began looking in December after they split.

However, Jennifer has decided not to adopt a baby from abroad.

The source added,

She turned to friends for advice, including Oprah Winfrey, who advised her to adopt an African child, but she has settled on an American baby.

Well Jennifer must have dropped the idea of adopting a child from abroad following the controversy over Madonna’s adoption of a 16-month-old David Banda from Malawi.
