President-elect Barack Obama hit the links on his Hawaiian holiday vacation.

Taking a carefree break in his birth state of Hawaii before he assumes the nation’s highest office in less than a month, Obama was obviously enjoying himself as he golfed while surrounded by pals, security, and admiring onlookers.

Obama will be sworn in as the 44th president of the United States on January 20.
