‘Barrymore’ Tops The List Of ‘100 Most Beautiful People’
Drew Barrymore, the enchanting actress with an enigmatic presence is No.1 in People Magazine’s annual list of 100 Most Beautiful People. Although this is the fourth time she is making the list but the first time ever to be featured on magazine’s cover page. The special issue is to hit the newsstands on Friday.

Barrymore, 32, attributes the achievement to her happy frame of mind and fun-loving approach to life. The actress who posed nude for Playboy in 1995, made her Hollywood debut at the age of 5 when she starred in Altered States (1980). However, essaying the role of ‘Gertie’ in E.T.the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) gave her instant stardom. Being nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Supporting Actress category for Irreconcilable Differences (1984) was a stupendous achievement, given the fact that she was barely 10.

As per film trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter, she was the actress with the second highest salary per movie, for the year 2006. Her upcoming film Lucky You by Warner Bros. has her paired with Eric Bana.
