Nikki Blonsky Airport Assault Case Dropped

"The Insider" has confirmed that all charges against 'Hairspray' star Nikki Blonsky and "America's Next Top Model" contestant Bianca Golden stemming from a July airport melee have been dropped. A case is proceeding, however, against one individual involved in the fight.

Nikki's father, Carl, still faces charges of assault and inflicting grievous bodily harm for his involvement in the scuffle, which could land him in jail for up to five years.

It was on July 29 that Nikki and Bianca's families faced off at the Providenciales International Airport in the Turks and Caicos islands. Both stars admit there was an argument that led to violence in the terminal, and Nikki says the fight erupted when Bianca's family became angry that some passengers were saving seats in the departure area. A fight ensued, leading to the arrest of Nikki, her father and Bianca. Bianca's mother, Eleine Golden, was airlifted to Florida with a head injury.
