Gossip Girl Star Files For Divorce While Awaiting Birth of Gucci

Some people nurse hangovers as the new year approaches and the more socially challenged people go mad dog crazy tagging all their belongings with a label maker.  Whatever, don’t judge me.  Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford decided it was time to clean her own house and filed for divorce from her husband of two years Daniel Giersch.  Irreconcilable differences, natch.  But here’s the thing:  she’s three months pregnant.  So you know he did something bad.  I’m sitting back now and waiting for all the “Why is it always the guy’s fault?” posts.  Because it is, that’s why.

In addition to their in-production fetus, they are the proud parents of a two year old must-have handbag, Hermés.  That is correct; his name is Hermés.

May I take a moment to share a personal story of shame?  This morning, while I was extensively researching Kelly Rutherford, I saw that her son was born on October 18, 2006.  I knew the date sounded familiar and couldn’t figure out why.  So I Google it, and I flip through my Outlook calendar and my address book and I still can’t place it.  So I ask my husband “Why is October 18th, 2006 significant?” and he was all like “Uhhh…other than the fact that you gave birth to our son on that day?”  Sigh…the last kid so gets the shaft.
