"The Insider" has obtained new heart wrenching family photos of John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son Jett.

Jett, 16, died following an apparent seizure while vacationing with his family Friday at the Old Bahama Bay Resort. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in the Bahamas.

The family's lawyer, Mike Ossi, told "The Insider" that before the tragedy John and Jett spent the day on the water.

  • Our heart goes out to Kelly and John on the loss of their son,Jett. We have a son age 31 that has severe epilepsy along with cerebal palsy. It is hard to see your child having seizures and feel so helpless. We know Kelly and John have been wonderful parents to Jett because it shows on Jett's face how much he was loved. He was a beutiful young man. It is a scary thought to know when you have a seizure if you hit your head this could cause death. Please tell Kelly and John we ache for their loss but we believe he is with God. Cherish your love and memories of him. He is always with you. May time ease your pain.

  • I am so sorry for John and Kelly and Ella. John Travolta appears to be a loving committed father. I have always been a fan of John due to his kindness and humility. I am so sorry that John has to bear this tragedy.

  • Though I only know the Travoltas through television and the movies, my heart and prayers go out to them. No parent should lose a child. The love the Travoltas share with each other shines in their eyes. That's what will help them through this heart renching tradgedy.

  • John and Kelley. I lost my only son 4 years ago. he was just 30years old..Had to shut machines off on him...It is so hard. When people tell you it gets better, no it does not. You just try to have more memories and remember all the good times . My heart is with both of you , and if you ever need a friend who has been there, let me know.God Bless you both and I will pray for you both as you go throught these hard and sad times Love Ann Arthur.
