See More... The death certificate of Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, has revealed the cause of his death.

According to Glen Campbell, assistant director of the Bahamian funeral home handling Jett's remains, the teenager’s cause of death was from a seizure, The Associated Press reports.

The official tells AP the body is in "great condition" with no signs of head trauma, though police officials say Jett may have hit his head on a bathtub.

Doctors conducted the autopsy Monday. Campbell says the death certificate was based on the autopsy findings.  Check back here for developing details.

  • Honestly I don't understand why everyone is getting into their business. Leave the Travolta family alone. The worst thing a parent could ever do is see their kid die before they die. You turn on the news and all you see is videos of his family and pictures of him and his son. Don't you think they deserve some respect and privacy in a time like this? If this was some "regular" person who wasn't famous know one would ever hear what happened or even know something was wrong. All because he's a "star" shouldn't make him any different. John and his family have feelings too, like anyone else who would be in their position; they don't want to turn on their tv just to see the same thing over and over again and have their news available to everyone. I'm sorry, but it's ridiculous. Their people too, Their not any different from me. They have feelings and I think people should show his family the respect they deserve.

Obviously you are on here looking at pictures and reading about everything being reported so get over yourself. You wouldn't have found this site without searching for it. So why are you reading all the information on the Travolta's? We are only interested because we love the Travolta's and of course have grown up with the one and only John Travolta. In some weird way we as fans feel we know him i guess. I for one love him as an actor and just feel so awful for him and his wife kelly. This breaks my heart. I lost a brother, and therefore my mother lost her son. It's awful and the shock just never wears off. I wish them every possible well wish I can, they will need it in this awful time of need. When I lost my brother a friend who had also lost a brother told me, time, time is your only friend and as time passes you will smile again. But nothing ever fills the void. And you think about that person every single day. Well anyway, knowing what the Travolta family is going through, the pain they are feeling, I just wish them well. They seemed to be wonderful people and parents. Their son was a beautiful young man.

  • Jett's eyes say it all. He knew how much he was loved and reciprocated in giving the greatest hugs back to his family that he adored. My son has those same eyes and hope that family/friends can comfort you during this very hard and emotional time. My heart is with you.

  • they really need all the support they can get, loosing a child is no easy thing to over come but the only thing we can do is pray.

    i think the Travolta family deserves a better explaination for their sons death, he should of been taken to DR. G medical examiner.

  • It was a tragedy for Travolta family, I will pray for the family and I want them to have faith for what happened, whatever happen always happen for good. I am sure Jett Travolta have found a better place in heaven. I am really really sorry for their loss.

    • I have lost cousins, grandparents, my father and my son. My son died after an allergic reaction to a DPT immunization. There is absolutely no comparison to losing relatives as there is to losing your child. A parent should never have to bury a child. It is out of the order of life. It has been 19 years and my heart aches everyday for my son. In my opinion, leave the Travolta's alone...they are still in shock. My son had the same beautiful eyes as Jett.

  • I am a parent of a child 16 suffering with Seizures and I know the pain we have to go through each time they go through a seizure. May God comfort you all during this hour of great need. My daughter Crystal has been suffering from seizure since she was 5 months after the result of the triple vaccine. May God give you all the strength and courage to go through this time. And may he have Eternal Rest safe in the Hands of Jesus. Trust the parents will be comforted every minute i every way. It is hard to take.

  • I think that when John said "my life changed when he first held Jett in his arms". I have heard something about pills and John and that he was creamated before the autopsy could be preformed and that John will be flying Jett hom himself. Are these insinuations to keep the story going. Leave the Travolta's TO THEIR GRIEF!!!!

  • Oh my God,,it is a global loss to lose Jett Travolta. And the pain is seen around the world. John is like the all american guy,,everyone adores him and feels his pain. It is only normal to want to grieve with them.

  • there are too may witnesses that say john and ke;;y were great parents and gave their son proper medical care. my heart is feeling his families pain. john shared openly his pain from losing his love yrs ago. now he has this pain. thank god kelly and ella are with him this time. john we love you and your family we are only apart for a short time here on earth you and jett will be togther again i promise. and your frind who past so your herself holds jett in her arms for you and kelly i know. brandie

  • i had a typo john I belive the woman you loved and lost so long ago was diane. she died at a young age 42 yrs i belive. you sahred your pain with your public family.   • I agree that this is the worst thing that can happen to a parent but why are they lying about the cause of death? You can't die from a "Seizure". From the consequences of one, of course, but not the seizure itself. It can stop the heart, stop the lungs or a number of other things but its got to have some other effect to cause a death. Otherwise, anyone who has a seizure would just drop dead. And it doesn't happen.

    A simple "no comment" or not being released" would be better than a lie. I think that is why people are all over this.

  • Also, it feels like a smoke screen, this Kawoski symdrome stuff. It doesn't cause seizures. Ironic that he was creamated so there can be no more investigation of the cause of death.

    I lost my daughter 3 years ago in a car collision where the other driver hit he at 70 mph. She was 17. I know how much this hurts but the truth ia the truth, Why cover it up?

God knew he needed very special love and care for 16 years so he looked down in his garden on earth to pick two special parents to take care, to love and to hold his special angel.
