What does Simon Cowell do when American Idol gets boring? He makes fun of Paula – while contestants are singing, no less. Cowell, famous for being rude, admitted to Ellen DeGeneres, "I taunt Paula throughout the performance.”

We’re glad someone’s got that covered. And here we thought he was giving her lessons on how to act less inebriated during critiques. Oh well, turns out he’s just being a straight up jerk. Never fear, while he blows off the live performances, he admits that he listens to them during the dress rehearsal.

Hey, remember that kid Sanjaya? The latest news is that his mom, sister Shyamali and stepdad all got busted for a little home gardening in their garage. Not tomatoes, folks – nope, the cops found 310 marijuana plants in the family garage in 2005. Sweet Sanjaya was not involved in the bust.
