See More... 'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson is dropping out of his upcoming film project.

Pattinson was set to star in the indie film 'Parts per Billion' but the movie was conflicting with the production schedule of the 'Twilight' sequel 'New Moon,' MTV News reports.

"Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on 'New Moon' haven't left enough time for Robert to work on 'Parts per Billion' in the first quarter of this year," his agent explained.

'Seven Pounds' star Rosario Dawson is the producer and costar of 'Parts per Billion.' The film tells the story of several different lives being impacted by the same catastrophic event.

  • My oppion is that Robert should play on the new flim "New Moon" because he is wonderful at the part, i'm pretty sure that " Parts Per Billion" isnt important as much as "New Moon". Teens are dieing to see the second movie of "Twlight", they would be very deppressed if Robert Pattinson wasn't playing on the flim. I for one would absoutley love it if Robert would play in "New Moon". It wouldn't be the same without him playing on it. Please Rovert if you're reading this play the movie.

  • The rumours are flying that Robert won't be doing the sequel 'New Moon'. He is so very talented that it would be a shame if he didn't continue to share his natural talents with the world. I've also 'heard' he is confused because he is also a very talented musician / pianist - but hey, if the limelight from Twlight and other film projects helps him to get there I don't think anyone is going to hold it against him. I think we should all wish him the best in whatever path he chooses...even if it means to be out of our sight. :(

  • I'm a huge Rob fan and I think he was perfect for the part as Edward Cullen. No one else could have done it, but him. I get tired of people saying that they could have found a different and hotter guy to play Edward cuz believe me they couldn't have found a different person.
