Conan O'Brien's family not along for the ride
Conan O'Brien and his Late Night crew are making the cross-country trek to San Francisco for a week's worth of shows, but some people who aren't going to make the trip are his wife, Liza Powel, and their children, Neve, 3 1/2, and Beckett, 17 1/2 months. Conan, who shot some field pieces in San Francisco two weeks ago before returning to New York to see his family, says the long journey would be too much for the little ones.

No, the family's not coming with me — it's too big of a trip. You have to choose your moments and cross continental flights carefully at this age.


Conan's invasion of San Francisco starts tomorrow night.
