  • No, it wasn't unfair. When you get into politics or even as a celebrity - you are a candidate for the comedy world. Sarah Palin needs to realize that she's not the first and she won't be the last female or male politician to be made fun of. If she plans to pursue the Presidency - then she better accept the fact that somewhere, sometime, someone will have jokes about her.

  • To Grams: You obviously missed the point of why Sarah said this. She didn't complain about the fact they were making fun of HER, no, all she said was that her children are off limits. She said she doesn't care if people attack her and make fun of her because just like you said, that's just normal. But attacking her children is just not right. Even Obama said that.

    And to the person who wrote that comment above mine: Sarah Palin NEVER said that she can see Russia from her house. She was simply trying to point out how close Alaska actually is to Russia. And as a matter of fact, you CAN see Russia from land in Alaska.
    And in addition, your comment just proved once again what a negative impact the media has/had on Sarah. She never thought that Africa was a country. I don't know if you have followed this, but this 'info' that came from an anynomous source turned out to be from a random blogger who didn't have ANYTHING to do with the Republican Party or the election last year.

  • I'm proud Gov. Palin has taken on the media, especially that idiot Katie Couric. It was disgusting the way the media treated Gov. Palin. And Gov. Palin is right - she, a Republican, was accused of not having any experience. Yet when Caroline Kennedy is chosen to take over the Wicked Witch of Washington's senatorial seat, the media praise her and give her all kinds of passes. Caroline Kennedy has NO experience and the only reason she is even being considered is because of her name and because she's a Democrat who supports baby-killing. This is so wrong and so unfair.   • Tina Fey was very unfair to Sarah Palin, I find that Mrs. Palin is a very well rounded person, the press and most of the movie stars are one of the reason Obama got elected. I guess many people did not watch the program showing that Mr. Obama's half-brother lives in proverty with no help from Mr. Obama, I also find it very interesting that Mr. Obama says he is going to create jobs, when the unemployment in his own state was & is the highest.

    Compare an actress, who wins awards for pretending to be other people to a "Real" down to earth woman that has done a tremendous amount of work to change things for the better for people in Alaska. Far more than Obama ever has done. Look at his own state of Illinois and what a mess it is in. The country is next. Atleast we know about and who Palin is, has Obama been as forthcoming? Not at all.

  • Tina Fey was absolutely NOT unfair to Sarah Palin. Palin not only said Tina was "spot on" in her portrayal of Palin, but Palin herself REQUESTED to appear on SNL and continue the parody. Now all of a sudden she was exploited? I don't think so! Palin was the one who decided to run for the second highest office in the land when she was absolutely unqualified to do so. Palin is the one who flubbed not just her interview with Katie Couric, but Charlie Gibson and Fox News as well. She has nobody to blame for her bad press except herself. My advice to her would be to stop trying to pass the buck. Go back to Alaska and try doing the job you were actually elected to do. At least you won that one. I guess they set the bar pretty low in Alaska.

The huge spike in oil prices is the only thing that got their economy in the black, not anything Sarah Palin did.Yet she STILL had her hand out for more Washington money! They have one of the worst public school systems in the country. Yet instead of improving public schools, she tries to build a bridge to nowhere. They have the highest murder/ suicide/ forcible rape rate in the nation. And what does Sarah Palin do? Fire police officers, and force rape victims to buy their own rape kits, which cost $1,200.00, if they want to prosecute their attacker. Sarah Palin is an incompetent politician.
