John Travolta Won't Attend Golden Globes
John Travolta has decided not to attend tonight's Golden Globe Awards as he continues to mourn the death of his 16-year-old son Jett.

The actor's rep tells "The Insider" that John, who was scheduled to present at the show, has cancelled his planned appearance. His latest movie 'Bolt' is nominated for Best Animated Feature and for Best Original Song for his duet with costar Miley Cyrus.

Jett Travolta died tragically after suffering a seizure on Jan. 2 during a family vacation in the Bahamas. John and his wife Kelly Preston held a memorial service for their son Thursday in Ocala, FL.

  • I understand the feelings of John&Kelly on the death of their son, we lost our son in2001 and although he was much older it still hurt very much and on JAN. 1 was his birthday,God only chooses special people he want to be with himtoo soon.

  • My heart goes out to the John Travolta and Kelly Preston and their family. I chose never to have children and so I don't know what it's like as a parent to loose somone, but I do know what it's like to loose someone.
