Bitchie on a Budget: Nene Leakes & Taraji P. Henson

Last week I posted photos of Nene Leakes and quite a few readers inquired about her “overall look”. Our resident fashionista Marleaux, has a breakdown of the outfit as well as how you can obtain the overall look for less.

Everyone is in agreement that Nene Leakes looked phenomenal in her Derek Blanks photo shoot. But the costar of the shoot were the Yves Saint Laurent Platform boots that Stylist Shun Melson paired with a ruffled Anne Fontaine top.

The YSL boots, which have also been seen on Ciara and Alicia Keys, boast a 5 inch heel, 1 inch platform and a blue sole. The boots are available on Ebay for the buy-it-now price of $799.00. But try the BCBG Beverly Platform boot, priced at $221.51, for a more costly alternate.

Taraji Hensen attended Jill Jones and Tank’s birthday party at Lollipop Monday’s in West Hollywood last week. Taraji wore a short-sleeved gray sweater dress paired with a wide belt and open-toe, knee-high booties.

Get the look with Forever 21’s Kaelyn Sweater Dress or Victoria Secret’s Cotton & Cashmere Sweater Dress, priced at $78.00. Pair the dress with Urban Outfitter’s Deena and Ozzy Zipper Corset belt, priced at $34.99, along with a pair of Vince Camuto Women’s Magena Booties, priced at $74.99 to complete the look. Cute look and very easy to obtain.
