Kelly Rutherford’s Divorce Turns Ugly
Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford is going through a rough time with her divorce proceedings with husband Daniel Giersch, according to Star magazine. Although she’s pregnant with her second child, she filed for divorce on December 30, the same day he filed for legal separation. On January 9, Kelly filed an emergency request to prevent Giersch from leaving the U.S. with Hermes as she believes they may disappear. The statement read:

“I feel there is some risk that he will leave the country with Hermes and I will not know where they are.”

Kelly also sought permission to travel to New York for work with Hermes.

In return, Giersch also filed his own documents with the L.A. Superior Court, accusing Rutherford of having a bad temper and having thrown a laptop at him as well as “spending too much time at weekly beauty appointments.”

They’re both seeking sole physical custody of their son with varied visitation, however, the judge “denied Kelly’s request regarding travel with Hermes, but set a court date of Jan. 21 to further hear the matter.”

Yikes, how sad and awful for their son and unborn child!
