The actress has recently obtained a restraining order against a 62-year old man who supposedly sent her many letters describing his unusual sexual and violent fantasies regarding her. Among the declarations and official documents there lies part of Jennifer’s statement: “I was terrified when I saw Mr. Nolte, because he has sent me threatening letters describing his sexual and violent fantasies that involve me. Seeing him at my mother’s house made me fear for my physical safety.” Now there’s nothing wrong with keeping these hopeless romantics at bay, but I have to ask: “physical safety?” What does that mean? That she was worried she would get hurt physically, but she knew that emotionally and mentally she would be impervious to her “admirer’s charms”? Seriously now… but, it was probably the authorities that insisted she use that phrase.
