Lopez Still Says She and Marc are Fine

“Lopez attended the star-studded event with her singer husband amid reports that her marriage was on rocks and the missing wedding band further fuelled such rumours, but the singer has clarified that she was only trying to make a fashion statement.

“Every time I’m not wearing my ring, people think I’m getting divorced. That’s crazy. It just didn’t go with the dress. Divorce is not and was never an option,” Lopez told In Touch magazine.”

And I say - BAHA! Celebrities, especially image-crazed celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, don’t do anything without precisely weighing the benefits it will reap them as well as the consequences they will be forced to deal with. I find it extremely hard to believe that a star such as J.Lo would purposely leave her ring at home just days after divorce rumors were sparked because she didn’t wear her wedding ring! No, no, no, this had nothing to do with what she was wearing and everything to do with the fact that J.Lo is an attention whore and just wants to keep people talking about her. And excuse me, divorce is not an option? When did that happen?!?!? Not only do I not have any faith in a marriage where ‘divorce is not an option’ (like marriage is some sort of prison sentence or something) but Lopez has been married twice before and each ended with divorce. When did it not become an option - when she had those two little babies of hers? That will make for a healthy childhood for them with parents who completely resent each other. Anyways, I am sick of all the J.Lo and Marc Anthony rumors and I can’t stand the thought that I might be giving Jen exactly what she wants so until this divorce is final, I shall remain mum on the subject.
