You know, I’m just beaming with happiness because this happens to be my favorite Madonna photo and now my passion for this nude pic gets justified by none other than Christie’s! Jokes apart, this photo carries a special value because it is a part of Madonna’s struggling days. She was a 20-year-old struggler when she responded to a newspaper ad by Friedlander, who was seeking a nude model, and ended up grabbing the $25 modeling assignment.
The photo appeared in Playboy in 1985 and the rest is history. Honestly, I think the photo deserves to be tagged as the best nude pic ever. In spite of a full frontal view (showing a hirsute Madonna), the photo does not look obscene by any measure. It looks more of a nude-art.
