Jennifer will also be up for three Grammys -- Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ("Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals ("I'm His Only Woman," featuring Fantasia) and Best R&B Album (Jennifer Hudson).
The other performer announced on Monday is country singer Carrie Underwood, who is nominated for Best Female Country Vocal Performance ("Last Name").
Last week it was announced that Jennifer will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Tampa on Feb 1 in her first public performance since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago last October.
Previously announced Grammy performers and nominees include Kenny Chesney, Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Lil' Wayne, and Katy Perry. The "51st Annual Grammy Awards" will be broadcast live February 8 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
