Erick Chopin: Biggest Loser winner, gains back 122 pounds

On the third season of The Biggest Loser , Erik Chopin took home the prize for losing 214 pounds. This week, he joined Oprah Winfrey and told the world that he had gained back almost half of the weight he has lost, gaining 122 pounds and weighing in close to 300 pounds.

Two weeks ago, Oprah Winfrey revealed on her talk show, that she had once again gained a lot of weight and was now over 200 pounds. This week she invited guests who had also publicly lost a lot of weight only to regain it, to appear on her show, Erik Chopin was one of those guests. He told Oprah Winfrey that he has been hiding from the world because he was an inspiration to so many people that watched him on The Biggest Loser and felt like a fraud. In an interviews with Oprah Winfrey and Access Hollywood he talked about being depressed and how he felt like he let everyone down. He also talked about having a body lift surgery in 2007, losing 10 pounds of sagging skin and worrying about stretching his skin once again with his new weight gain.

Erik Chopin has begun a new exercising regime and although he doesn’t expect to ever get back down to 193 pounds again, he is hoping to just get healthy and fit and says “When I am at that I will know!” via: entertainment.wagerweb.com
