"The Insider" spoke to Teri Hatcher, Gerard Butler, Val Kilmer, and The Huffington Post co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Arianna Hufington.
The bash, sponsored by the The Huffington Post news blog, was one of dozens of parties and balls being held in conjunction with tomorrow's inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
Teri Hatcher tells "The Insider" how it feels to share this special event with her daughter.
"Such an amazing time, and I was able to bring my daughter here to experience this," Hatcher says. "It's like fever, it's crazy."
Musicians Sting and will.i.am are confirmed performers for the party held at the Newseum in Washington D.C. About 2,000 people attended the event, which featured a countdown to Inauguration Day complete with hats, noisemakers and confetti.
