Michelle "Wu"ed America at the inaugural balls with her glamorous dress and jewels.

The first lady wore a white, sequin Jason Wu gown that hung delicately over one shoulder as she escorted her husband, President Barack Obama.

Michelle's jewelry will become a permanent collection of the Smithsonian Museum -- and traditionally so will her gown.  Jewelry designer Loree Rodkin created Mrs. Obama's accessories for the Inaugural Ball as well as the events leading up to Barack's presidency.

To compliment her stunning white gown, Michelle wore white gold and triple rose cut diamond earrings with garland diamond brio drops. On her hand, she adorned a white gold and black rhodium rose cut diamond signet ring.

From the dress to the jewels, first lady Michelle Obama is becoming an icon in American fashion.
