A:Dakota Fanning could possibly be cast as Jane in Twilight 2, New Moon, one of the most vicious vampire bitches of all the dark and powerful Volturi. Ok, you only get it if you read the books but it’s a great character for her to breakout with blah blah blah. Mark’s telling us:

“There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.”

Thanks to all the Dork-a-Sauras’ out there for the online petition to support Dakota, but I think she’s got it.

  • Get used to it people. Fanning IS Jane in New Moon and honestly if you saw "Push", Dakota playing in this role is not that far from it.

  • I tihnk shes perfect for the role. I have read New Moon already & her ghostly features, her deep haunting blue eyes fit well wit Jane as athe sweet dangerous little girl. PERFECTT BIGGGG THUMBS UPP FOR WHOEVER THOUGHT OF HER AS THE PART

  • after reading the books twice and knowing the characters like the back of my hand.dakota would not be my pick for jane.she is to young and innocent to play such a largly EVIL role. im hoping that the casting director will rethink this decission.
