It was one year ago today that actor Heath Ledger died at the young age of 28 from an accidental overdose. It seems that nearly everyone-from celebrated actors to regular everyday people like me really took this loss to heart for many reasons. The sadness over what could have been a long, celebrated, colorful career, the loss of a doting father, and the devestation of someone-anyone-dying in the 20's. He may have only been on this Earth a short time, but he made a great impact on so many people. I thought it would be only proper to take a moment to honor a short but illustrious career, as well as remembering to cherish the people we hold most dear while we have the chance to.
