HIMYM's Cobie Smulders Flashes Her New Engagement Ring
How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders is clearly ringing in the New Year in style: with a baby due this spring and some new hardware adorning her left hand.

Asked by PEOPLE if it is, in fact, an engagement ring, the actress, 26, flashed a smile as dazzling as her new sparkler and said, "Yes, it is."

Smulders, who plays the single Robin Scherbatsky on the hit CBS sitcom, says that her boyfriend, actor Taran Killam, popped the question over the holidays.

Regarding wedding plans, "We're focused on the baby right now," Smulders said while attending the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences evening with HIMYM, "and when we actually have a second, then we'll start thinking about that."

As for how Killam proposed, "That's personal," Smulders insisted, "but it was very romantic, I'll tell you that much."
