Keri Russell worries about juggling motherhood, career

Keri Russell continued the press tour for her new movie Waitress recently, telling the San Francisco Chronicle that although the baby she is expecting with husband Shane Deary -- their first -- was unplanned, it was not unwelcome.  A self-proclaimed victim of "pregnancy brain," Keri also admitted that she has begun to ponder the great debate over whether women can really have it all -- both at work and at home.   Fortunately, the young actress has successful role models to draw from, like Waitress co-star Cheryl Hines, herself mom to 3-year-old Catherine Rose.

I'm going to see how it goes.  I don't know how people do it.  I think everyone kind of figures it out.  Cheryl seems to have done it, and I have a few other examples of gals I like a lot who have done it well.

Keri said she is eager to be a hands-on mom, and expressed hesitancy about handing over control of the childrearing duties to an outsider.

The idea of having someone's help, a nanny, somebody else in your space, does not sound good to me.  I'm too much of a control freak.
