Jennifer Hudson sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII game between the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, in Tampa, Fla. This was Hudson’s first performance send tragically losing her mother, brother and nephew in October 2008.
