Brittany Murphy Weds!
Actress Brittany Murphy has married screenwriter Simon Monjack whose credits include Factory Girl. The 29-year-old actress had called off an engagement to Joe Macaluso, whom she met on the set of the film Little Black Book, only eight months ago. Brittany was spotted living it up with Monjack at the Playboy Kentucky Derby event. Sources say the couple looked happy and were both wearing wedding rings.

“[Murphy and Montjack] were drinking Crown Royal, and [they] didn’t want photographers to take pictures of their rings because they were waiting to make a formal announcement on Monday.”
