Non-Shocker of the Day: Pete Doherty Arrested for 3,567th Time
Police arrested notorious crackhead Pete Doherty this weekend in London on suspicion of possessing a class “A” drug. The singer was stopped in a car, and brought to a police station, where he was later bailed out.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “About 10pm on (Saturday) police stopped a vehicle in Kensington High Street.

He added: “The 28-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug. He was taken to a West London police station and subsequently bailed to return on a date in June.”

Pete promised in court in April that he intended to stay off drugs for good. “The people I’m closest to have had enough. They’ve said it’s drugs or them.”
