”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
When Hilary was told what Faye had said about her acting skills she told E!’s Daily 10:
“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too. It’s not really like taken off of the movie, it’s taken off the true story of Bonnie and Clyde. So the movie was adjusted slightly by how they wanted to do it and this is kind of like the true events of how everything went down.”
Hilary needs some PR advice.
Yes, Faye’s remark about her was sarcastic, but Hilary would have impressed her more had she shown some class and said something like, ” Bonnie and Clyde is without a doubt, a classic; and the film we are doing will have a different approach but it’s my hope to earn Faye’s respect through my portrayal of her. As an inexperienced actress I would love any input or suggestions from her on how I could improve my performance.”
Hilary may want to think about choosing her words more carefully in the future. Hilary’s fans are a group of teeny boppers, while Faye Dunaway is a living legend!
