Someone Haiku

More great haikus over the weekend. Though I found it difficult to not award a solid Malcolm X reference with the blue ribbon, today’s winner is cinekat, whom I believe is also Someone Haiku’s first two-time winner:

Here’s the gospel truth:
Do as you would be done by
(unless ratings rise).

Nicely put, cinekat.

Today, haiku of the news that smooth criminal Paris Hilton, sketched above, may still avoid jail time based on the outcome of her appeal, the notice of which was filed with the court today.

17 syllables on this should be quite easy. Good luck!
