Jerry Springer Says Goodbye To 'Talent'

Television host Jerry Springer announced in a statement on Thursday that he will not return as the host of NBC's 'America's Got Talent.'

According to the Associated Press Springer said that he will no longer host the talent competition show due to other projects including a stage role and his long running syndicated talk show.

The TV personality described his time on the popular show as, "an amazing ride," and the network has not revealed who will replace him as host of the upcoming fourth season.

Springer has hosted the reality competition series since summer of 2007.
