More pictures after the bust…
All was well after the apology…it seemed. Then the backlash by parents started, saying he is a role model to children and the drug use shouldn’t go unnoticed. So it all came down Thursday. Per Monsters and Critics:
“…the 8-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer has also been suspended for three months by USA Swimming.
The Kellogg co. put Phelps on boxes of its Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes. Now sponsor Kellogg says they will no longer be in business with Phelps. The Cereal and snack maker will not renew its sponsorhip contract with Olympic swimmer because he has confirmed he did smoke marijuana last fall.
The company released a statement Thursday that Phelps’s behavior is “not consistent with the image of Kellogg.”
Kellogg says its contract with Phelps expires at the end of the month.”
His three month ban from the swimming pool and competition will lose him sponsorship dollars those three months’ too. Do you think his reality came crashing down? I think so. He got it. Especially now because charges may be filed by the county where the pot smoking pictures took place. So much for a little college fun.

Do you think the media is too harsh on Michael Phelps' controversial pot smoking photo?
