Wga Awards Winners Milk & Slumdog Millionaire


The 61st Annual Writers Guild Awards held ceremonies in Century City on the West Coast and at the Hudson Theatre Millennium Broadway Hotel for the WGA East. Milk Screenwriter, Dustin Lance Black, was a big winner taking home the WGA  award for Best Original Screenplay and receiving a special honor award at the ceremony. Simon Beaufoy took home the statuette for Slumdog Millionaire. We expect these to films to sweep the same categories at the Oscars.
