T.I. To Chris Brown: 'This Too Shall Pass'

Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I. was a guest on "Last Call With Carson Daly" Monday night, and he revealed that he has spoken to Chris Brown since the R&B star's arrest on Sunday night.

T.I. informed the talk show host that he spoke to Brown on Monday and the young star seemed to be doing okay.

"Yeah, I spoke to him today," the rapper says. "He cool, you know." T.I. went on to say he assumes the 19-year-old is concerned about the situation but: "He's still the same Chris."

T.I. assured Daly that although he doesn't know all of the details, he told his friend and fellow entertainer:"This too shall pass."

"We're celebrities we're entertainers, but we're still human -- all of us," he says. "Don't expect us not to make mistakes because we will."

The rapper's new show about his community service work following his own arrest last year, "T.I.'s: Road To Redemption: 45 Days to go," premieres tomorrow on MTV.
