DA Sends Chris Brown Case Back to Police

Chris Brown Arrest Details Revealed

The Los Angeles District Attorney received the Chris Brown case today but sent it back to police who are currently investigating the R&B singer on suspicion of domestic violence.

The DA's office told ET that no charges would be filed today or anytime soon and they will await the LAPD's further investigation into the case before deciding how to proceed.

Brown canceled a planned performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night and was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after a woman accused him of assaulting her the night before. The singer was released on $50,000 bail.
