Actor Philip Carey Loses Battle with Lung Cancer at 83
Philip Carey aka Asa Buchanan from One Life to Live lost his battle with lung cancer at age 83. How terribly sad to lose two actors from the show (father and son) in one week! Clint Richie passed away on January 31st and Philip Carey died on February 6th.

Carey is survived by his wife and their two kids as well as three children from a previous marriage.

R.I.P. Asa!
