Nicollette Sheridan, who plays the blonde bombshell of Wisteria lane, may no longer be a part of the "Desperate Housewives."

"The Insider" confirms Sheridan's character Edie Britt is in fact leaving the show but this wouldn't be the first time. Last season she was driven out by the other women only to return when the show fast fowarded five years.

Her character came back to the program married to a man that insisted they live on Wisteria Lane. Now, her husband David Williams (Neal McDonough) has a vendetta against Mike Delfino (James Denton) that looks to be coming to a head.

On "Desperate Housewives," Sheridan plays a flirty real estate agent who is both friend and enemy to the other women.

For more with the ladies of Wisteria Lane, "Desperate Housewives" airs Sundays on ABC.
