In NYC, Lindsay Lohan barely missed getting run over by a taxi driving down W. 54th St., when the slight actress crossed the street to sign autographs for waiting fans. The driver managed to slam on his brakes and stopped just 5 feet short of hitting Lindsay. Lucky for her, it was not a drunk Paris Hilton at the wheel. From there, Linds traipsed over to the Ziegfield Theater, where reporters waited to ask her about her infamous partying on the set of "Georgia Rule." When Lindsay's mother was recently questioned by the New York Daily News about the infamous footage of her daughter purported to be snorting cocaine, this was what she had to say.
"We don't read the tabloids," Dina said. "There's so much fabrication. We all live in glass houses, and if you don't know somebody, you really don't know the truth."
"Unless it's Entertainment Tonight!" she forgot to add with a wink and a smile. And the only reason that woman lives in a glass house is because it's made of mirrors, the better for her to be constantly checking herself out.
