The White Oprah Commits Red Carpet Faux Pas

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina (the self-professed ‘White Oprah’) scored a new gig as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, but things aren’t going so smoothly. White Oprah worked the red carpet at the NYC premiere of her daughter’s new film “Georgia Rule,” and shocked the film’s star Jane Fonda with some dangerous questions.

Lindsay’s co-star Jane Fonda was visibly disturbed when Dina asked her, “So, what was it like working with my daughter?” One witness said, “That was a stupid thing to do. Jane publicly criticized Lindsay’s behavior last year.” Fonda told “Access Hollywood” during filming: “Lindsay’s so young and she’s so alone out there in the world in terms of structure and, you know, people to nurture her.” After Dina’s first question to Fonda fell flat, Dina pressed on and asked, “It’s so hard for young stars today with the paparazzi and press - do you have any advice for my daughter?” Fonda - who the witness said seemed “taken aback and appalled not just by Dina being on the carpet but by the questions” - snapped, “If you screw it up now, you don’t get another chance!” and turned on her heel and walked off. A rep for Fonda said, “We kept all interviews short because the press line was long.”

In other uncomfortable Lindsay Lohan news, White Oprah met up with the english dude her daughter’s been banging for the past few months. Calum (who had a short relationship with Lindsay last year) met up with mother and daughter at a NYC party on Wednesday.

An onlooker said: “They seemed to be getting along very well.

“Calum, Lindsay and Dina all squeezed together when they posed for pictures.”

The outing was the second US date this week for Lindsay and Calum.

On Monday they attended a Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala after a party at chic New York club Bungalow 8.

I guess Jude Law was too busy to attend the party.
