The This Day Arise magazine African fashion collective showed Friday February 13th at Bryant Park during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The show spotlighted four designers, Xuly Bet, Tiffany Amber, Stoned Cherrie, and Momo. The This Day show was perfectly in tune with what's happening in the world now, the current political climate in the United States. And it's what everyone's talking about this season -- The Obama Effect - finally the industry casting more Black and African American models on the runway.
