Akon has passed the celebrity rite of passage – making an apology for doing something stupid. Apparently, dirty dancing (aka dry humping) with a 14-year-old at a recent show was not well received. Verizon even pulled their sponsorship on Gwen Stefani’s tour (Akon opens for the blonde cutie). Oops.

Have you signed Paris Hilton’s plea for a pardon yet? Nah, neither have we. Paris thinks that getting online fans to sign her petition to Gov. Schwarzenegger is going to get her off the hook. C’mon, Paris. You did the crime, now do the time.
