Julianne Hough was all smiles on Tuesday as she took the stage in Washington DC.

The two-time "Dancing With the Stars" champion looked beautiful in black at the Fourth Annual Challenge Champions Gala where she spoke and performed for the crowd.

NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and "American Idol" alum Kellie Pickler, also attended the gala put on by the National Guard Youth Foundation.

Julianne is currently preparing for the next season of "Dancing With The Stars" -- this season she's paired with her boyfriend, country singer, Chuck Wicks.

Season eight of "Dancing With The Stars" kicks off March 9 on ABC.
