Adam Sandler sued for copyright infringement

A comic book author has sued Hollywood actor Adam Sandler for allegedly stealing the idea for his 2008 released movie You Don’t Mess With The Zohan claiming that the same idea and characters can be found in his original comic book.

The author named Robert Cabell has on Monday February 22nd filed a lawsuit in a Federal Court in Manhattan for copyright infringement against not only Adam Sandler but also against bosses at Happy Madison Productions, Sony & Colombia Pictures.

Copying someone’s idea is such an easy thing to do but at the same time it’s the most stupid thing to do, the damages could run into millions of dollars and you lose credibility. I’m sure Adam would have done it if he has unintentionally.

A quick buck with someone else’s idea might make the producers feel oh! Man we saved a large sum on the story and the idea now we have to pay the script writer so less and we have a movie on our hands but these greedy guys never think of paying the man who created this in the first place a penny out of their profits. It’s a mean world other there and everyone’s for themselves.
