Britney Spears Reaches No. 1

Britney's latest single "Circus," off her platinum album of the same name, is the No. 1 song on the Top 40 radio charts, says the star's Web site. It's also her fifth No. 1 song overall.

Britney's site adds that this marks the first time that she's has notched back-to-back No. 1 singles on the radio chart, according to the industry trade Radio & Records.

Three songs from Britney's album Circus now hold spots in the Top 40 chart: "Womanizer," "If You Seek Amy," and the album's title cut.
