Aish and Hrithik say bye to Cannes
The beautiful newly wed Aishwarya Rai and the macho Krrish of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan will not be attending the upcoming Cannes film festival. The two are starring in Ashutosh Gowarkiar’s latest movie, ‘Jodha Akbar’. The entire team of the Jodha Akbar movie was invited at Cannes to showcase the movie’s first look but none of them is making it to the huge festival. The reason being, all of the team members have to work hard to finish of with the shootings in the Capital because the director wants to wrap up the expensive project prior to the monsoon season.

Ahsutosh Gowarikar tells Delhitimes “I have no
plans as such to attend the promotional campaign of Jodha Akbar. I know that it will help the film, but we need to finish our shoot first. Hrithik and I are not going to attend the festival because we need to wrap up the shoot before monsoons. Ash was supposed to attend the event, but she also will be with us in Karjat. I can’t afford to waste a single day.”

Aishwarya who has been attending the mega Cannes film festival from last four years, will not be seen this time. Initially it was thought that the Bacchan family excluding Mrs. Jaya Bacchan will add to the glory of the show but now only Amitab Bacchan will be seen receiving the red carpet welcome at Cannes.
