Will You Be Spending the Summer with Lauren Conrad?
On a scale from 1-10, how pathetic and depressing is it that I'm pretty sure I'll be spending multiple days on the beach this summer reading Lauren Conrad's new book?

It's okay, you can tell me.

The new novel, which hits bookstores on June 16, is about "what it's like to come of age in Hollywood while starring in a reality TV show, written by a girl who has experienced it all firsthand."

Which would be L.C. -- or the fictional Jane Roberts.

"Roberts can't wait to start living it up," the official book synopsis says. "She may be in L.A. for an internship, but Jane plans to play as hard as she works and has enlisted her BFF Scarlett to join in the fun."

Scarlett = Heidi and Tracy = smitten. See you at the beach!
