'High School Musical 4' Movie in the Works

Following the release of the box-office smash hit 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' last October, Disney has announced plans for the fourth installment of the wildly popular 'High School Musical' movies. "The Insider" has the details!

The new music and dance-filled movie will debut on the Disney Channel in 2010 -- but "The Insider" has learned that 'HSM 4' will introduce a new cast of characters.

The plot of the new movie, which starts production later this year, follows a love story and the cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and the West High Knights.

'High School Musical: Senior Year, Extended Edition' is available on DVD in stores now.

  • I don't know if this will work... I mean it sounds cool but new teachers, completely new students (not even Rocketman and Tiara!) and a new school, plus wouldn't that mean they lose all the basketball games? I will still watch it but I really would...

  • i dont think it will be a blast because the original cast is not in it anymore... itll not be the same, people will just compare the original cast to the new ones... not a good idea

  • I really dont think that they should make another one the first three were amazing and the fourth one is just not gonna be the same because the original cast will not be in it and it just wont be the same.
