New 'Bachelorette' Speaks Out About Jason Mesnick

One of the final four women to vie for Jason Mesnick's affections will be the next star of "The Bachelorette."

Jillian, the 29-year-old interior designer from Alberta, Canada, will look for a love interest among 25 men as the new "Bachelorette."

“I’m a very lucky person. I’ve been a huge fan of the show since day one,” Jillian said on Tuesday night’s “Bachelor”: After the Final Rose Part II. “I did fall in love once before [with Jason]. I know this is a great venue for me to fall in love again.”

Regarding the controversial turn of events on “The Bacherlor” -- in which Jason dumped winner Melissa Rycroft for runner-up Molly Malaney -- Jillian says, “Jason seems to me like he has kept his chin up,” but adds, “I hope that I make the right choice the first time.”

Catch Jillian when “The Bachelorette” premieres May 18 on ABC.

  • Gosh! The show is so behind here in NZ but I gotta say; I wanted Jason to pick Molly! My first pick was Jillian but then she left...and then for the final I went for Molly...but if Jason has gone to Molly - gosh! that's AWESOME!!! I gotta say though; Jason's a d*ck for rejecting Molly on international tv lol! All the best though & hopefully Jason will just grow up lol!!!

  • Jason is no catch. He's a poor example to his son. He had a beautiful ex-wife and led us to believe at first that he had sole custody, not so. I read that Molly is NOT dating Jason, just doing required show promo. Watch them announce the split after promo is done!

  • I think there is a big problem with Jason. I don't know the details of his first marriage and divorce, or if he shares custody of his son. I do recall he rather peculiar antics when he lost out on the bachelorette program, and now rejecting the girl after he had chosen her---unstable is the word for him---could call him a three time loser, and I feel that Molly should be very cautious, I wish her good luck, but would tell her to "EXIT" at the first sign in Jason's actions that she doesn't understand---again I'd call him a loser---JTG
