Emma Roberts' Crush on Nick Jonas Is Over

"I used to have a crush on Nick, but he's kind of making his rounds in Hollywood, and I don't know if I like that," she says in the April issue of Teen Vogue.

Although the 18-year-old actress jokes that she's "looking to musicians now," she won't take any calls from Nick, Joe or Kevin. She calls the Jonas Brothers "a little tainted" as a result of their having romanced so many other young stars.

(Nick used to date Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, while his older brother Joe famously broke up with Taylor Swift before dating Camilla Belle.)

The actress even cautions against dating costars.

"It's great when you're shooting," she admits. "But when it's a year later and you have to do press and you're no longer speaking, that can be a bit awkward."

Still, the Hotel for Dogs star would like a boyfriend.

"I remember being 12 and thinking, I can't wait until I'm 16, because by then I'm going to have a car, a driver's license, a really cool boyfriend, and boobs," she says. "And now I'm 18, and I have none of those things. None! That was my 12-year-old self's checklist, and nothing has been checked off."

Besides her dating life, the young star is focusing on her budding movie career, including two independent films, Lymelife and The Winning Season.

"Some people look at me and think, 'She's just Julia Roberts' niece,' so I wanted to do something smaller and edgier, something that would show I really am an actress," she says about her current films, both of which appeared at this year's Sundance Film Festival. "I'm not in competition with her. She's one of the biggest movie stars in the world! I'm just doing what I love to do and having fun with it."
